Satoshi T You can see the aurora in your backyard. It's amazing! and I admire you that you are able to take it immediately after you have noticed!

bvphotosnap Thank you Satoshi! I noticed it when we took out the dogs for their final bathroom break at 11 pm and I had already uploaded a photo for the day but when I seen the aurora I just knew I had to run back in and grab my camera. I wanted to use f/8 but I there wasn't enough time to use bulb mode and it must have been a bright aurora since there was so much light pollution around and I only used f/4 at 30s, so I was definitely happy! :)

Amarnath Shiva Fabulous. In a way, you are lucky to see aurora borealis in your backyard

bvphotosnap Thank you very much! It was a special night for sure since being surrounded by light pollution, it must have been an exceptionally bright aurora. :)

Grace so beautiful!

bvphotosnap Thank you very much Grace!

Margie Such a unique photo creation! I have never seen it. Nice catch! I see you are from Canada and maybe Alberta? I hope those devastating fires are not affecting you. Stay safe!

bvphotosnap Thank you @margiewb Yes we are in alberta and far away from the fire but sad about it none the less. I was lucky to have gone outside when I did. :)
