When I was a child if a ladybug landed on your hand you would say: Bishy bishy barney bee, Tell me when your wedding be, If it be tomorrow day, Take your wings and fly away. Fly to the east, fly to the west, Fly to the one I love the best.

Of course squeals would break out in the school yard if the little bug happened to take flight & land upon a schoolmate as we finished the rhyme 😄
