Flying Scotsman

At last, June 4th arrived! I have had a small newspaper article on the notice board for months about the Flying Scotsman coming through Leicestershire today, so hubby and I were all set up some 3/4 hour before we thought it might be going past our chosen location - just in case. In fact it had been delayed by 20 minutes but that took nothing away from my excitement. Must have watched it for at least 15 seconds ......! Sadly it was a very grey hazy day, how much better it would have been against a blue sky.

For me, a very special day.
