tigg Worth knowing. Beetroot, in black and white, lacks a little something, doesn't it? Are you shooting in b & w or processing, by the way? Must check on our beetroot ....

Joost van Halm Hi @tigg, you are right, it doesn't really work to shoot food in black and white.
I gave myself the constraint of shooting strictly black and white for this project and only use un-edited jpeg's straight from camera. So I didn't do any conversion or processing.
What little processing is there, comes from tweaking some setting in the picture-controls like contrast and the use of yellow, red, green or no colorfilter.
