Sknolling

I've been hesitating all week to take up the challenge, having never knolled before and thinking it would be hard.

Little did I know how hard it really is!

This must be the photo that's taken me the most time and effort. After a two epic fails (first with cameras, then books.... which were surprisingly difficult to align perfectly) I decided to try shooting my ski gear, even if it's not really the season.

As it was taken outside, I had to wait for clouds to pass over to avoid shadows. Each time a cloud passed over, it was for less than a minute, and by the time I had the camera properly aligned, the sun came back out. After what seems like at eternity I finally managed to get a shot in without any shadows.

All this to say I have massive respect for you all those here who have mastered this especially difficult technique.

Now I just hope the next challenge is easier!
