Joost van Halm Very sad to hear that, sound a bit like @Satoshi his story. The reason my machine is still running this way, has everything to do with IT being my job. I am self-employed and I do this for a living, supporting lots of Windows and Mac users (the fortunate ones and unfortunate ones). All computers can go wrong Macs equally to Windows...

tigg Slightly envious. Our 3 year old iMac has been returned to us today after the hard drive died. It has been making corrupt backups since January this year which has damaged the good back ups, and we can retrieve nothing from our earlier ones - so we are at January 2013 now. Joy.
