Eva I really think to know this place! ;) If you any advice, I'll try my best to give you some! Firenze is a great city. If you're still there, take a look on Palazzo Rucellai, Ospedale degli Innocenti, Sacrestia Vecchia/Nuova (the second one by Michelangelo), the stairs of the Biblioteca Laurenziana Medicea (also by Michelangelo), Santa Maria Novella and also the train station (called Santa Maria Novella too), an example of 1900 "architettura razionalista". Enjoy your staying!
Magda Korzewska Eva, thanks a lot. We saw some from your list. Today city was very overcrowded so it was a challenge to walk around. Tomorrow morning we are heading south. The rest from your list need to wait for the next time. I hope it will be sooner than later (I was first time in Florence in 1997, second time in 2016). This is a great city, indeed.
