The rope posted a couple of days ago was used to safely fell the old copper beech tree which was some 35 metres tall. The trunk was at least 1.5m diameter, but as you can see there was little 'solid' tree left; in this section about 10 or 12 cm of solid timber around the outer edge of the trunk.

Satoshi T My house had been feeding damage of termites. I have to repair it. When I see this right side of the copper beech tree, I think it is similar to the part that was damaged.
