Jennifer I like the pose because it feels triumphant, and looking up at the person on the roof matches that. It's a little dark though, so it might help to brighten it up a little bit. The tree on the left is a little distracting, so I would suggest either trying to incorporate it directly into the photo, or looking for an angle that gets rid of it.
