Markus Jansson Haha! Well, you're not misinformed! The cinnamon bun is certainly a Swedish classic. It can be enjoyed all year around, both summer and winter. The buns with saffron, however, is something we only eat around Christmas time (and I think they´re from Germany, originally). They are supposed to be served on December 13th, when Swedes for some reason celebrate the Italian Saint Lucia.
Magda Korzewska Great, this is something new for me to know about Sweden. I am a big fan of your country. tack så mycket. Looking forward to see some pictures from Saint Lucia holidays.
Magda Korzewska So tasty. I thought National buns are with cinnamon. This is what I have learnt from swedish crime books (Camilla Lackberg and Stieg Larson)
