How to be a good neighbour?

Since we've agreed that this year longboard family Christmas party, with giving presents to each other, will take place at my flat, I went to inform the neighbours. Why hanging a card, when You know all those people and it's better to tell them in person? It also sometimes might end up in invitation for coffee and a slice of cake. And a tookapic opportunity, cause it's one of those moments worth remembering.
