Ian Prince Mmm, support.apple.com/en-us/HT2030... seems to indicate that the latest versions of OSX support your Sony a7R II, and therefore iPhoto/Photos. But maybe your Mac is not up-to-date? That said, there's nothing really wrong with shooting in JPEG if you get the in-camera white balance correct. The Olympus in-camera auto white-balance is pretty decent....so good I very rarely shoot in RAW.
