My new toy

For bird and wildlife pics. Amazingly, I can actually get decent hand-held pictures with it, too. It's certainly easier to manage on a tripod, though. Perhaps it will be part of my strength-training program :)

Shenandoah As Kyle mentioned, it's a 150-600mm Sigma lens. I have it set for 600mm in the picture. Really nice for stationary birds on trees and rocks. I can't yet track airborne birds at those focal lengths!

Shenandoah Yep, really nice lens! I took it out for a test drive this afternoon. Hoping to go do some bird watching on Saturday with it.
