Waffles

In Breukelen (hometown) a very old-fashioned waffle and "poffertjes" (mini-pancakes) stand comes by about 6 weeks per year. All primary school children are allowed a meal here. A rich and famous person Kees de Tippelaar left his money so all children get one portion of these mini-pancakes per year. By now, 2015, all parents used to be children that were give poffertje, so it's a deeply rooted tradition. The waffles from this stand are the best I've ever tasted!
