Not the One I though I'd Use

I'm always surprised by this Tookapic thing. I go out, take a photo, and check it out on the LCD screen. Sometimes I love it only to be disappointed when I import it to Lightroom. Other times I'm surprised by how well things turn out.

This photo was originally way under exposed, the trees were washed out with orange lights, and the stars all had hazy halos around 'em. When I brought into Lightroom I started to make small correction (mostly I wanted to see if I could eliminate most of the orange) and bit-by-bit I found something I can be okay with.
