Sadly, we just don't know better ;-(
Maybe in a more exclusive restaurant they will serve dimsum in the bamboo baskets. One of these days, I hope to visit Hong Kong for some serious culinary adventures!

WK Fan I am sure that this is Chinese food restaurant. But why not use bamboo steam-basket to place the "Dim sum" (點心)? If use this traditional basket, the smell will become stronger and better. :)
