Macedon Autumn

Today I decided at the last minute to jump on a train to Macedon to check out the fairly legendary Honour Ave, known for it's autumn colours. Unfortunately, everyone else was there as well. :( Went for a walk and came back to find nearly everyone gone, so this was my big chance to stand in the middle of the road and make a nuisance of myself.

Few things about this image that I don't like - the "no standing" sign on the left, the lack of interesting sky (although the lack of direct sunlight could possibly be seen as a blessing). The car in the distance I didn't like at first, but it doesn't outright detract from the shot.

Definitely need to visit again. Maybe first thing in the morning. Maybe camp out overnight....
