Yes, indeed... here they remove some trees in the wood. So, they left enough of them... and BTW, for every tree they cut.. they must plant a new tree somewhere else!
We have a lot of (pine) trees here, because years ago they planted them to use for wood in the coal mines around here. But, all the coal mines are already closed, so there al to much pine trees here in this area.
My picture of today ("rain-front is coming...") is a good view from one of the coal terrils, and when you look very good... you still see the remains of the old mines...
