Flying Upside Right

I went to an airshow in Pensacola, and took a lot of photos of a variety of jets and planes and people and food stands. I had lens envy as some photographers had their image stabilizer lenses of monster millimeters at hand, while I only had my trusty 75-300mm.

The day was very overcast, and the rains were forecast for the afternoon, making the lighting and background very white. I set my auto-exposure for 1 stop over for the sky photos after a few test shots.

How do I pick just one photo out of the hundreds that I took?
