Lens Test

Decided to splurge a bit and buy a $30 m42 lens (plus adapter) from eBay. Lens came last week, adapter of course waited until today. Introducing the Asahi Super-Takumar 55mm f/2.0. 55mm is a lot longer than I'm used to, and of course I needed to find subjects to test it on....

These cats are difficult enough to catch sitting still, let alone long enough for me to grab manual focus on f/2, so I'm pleased enough with this lens for tonight. Bit annoyed I cut her ear off, but just need practice.

Tomorrow I will take the lens into the big bad world and see how it goes.
