Vermiculture: a fancy way of saying worm compost or worm poop. The worm castings (poop) are so rich in nutrients that I have who-knows-what sprouting in the bin. The worms are very fond of coffee grounds and have a sweet tooth for ripe mangos and avocados. I should have crushed the egg shell but sometimes we (the royal "we") just cannot be bothered to do the right thing. In the end, it all winds back in the garden, completing a very satisfying circle.
