Michał Yes, external one. It's easier to freeze the motion that way. When shooting in a dark room - or bathroom in this case - shutter speed does not matter.

I think it should work in high speed sync flash as well. But that require remote flash trigger and flash itself with HSS. It's on my list but for now I'm just fine with optical triggering. It's a fairly simple setup where a built-in flash triggers the external one (which is set to slave). But no HSS this way.
