At 7 am I was jolted awake and started screaming because the hotel room was spinning out of control. After several minutes, the spinning stopped, but I was sweating and nauseated, my hands were tingling, and I could only whisper two word sentences. It wasn't easy, but Jim got me to the Medi center lobby. Apparently the receptionist took one look at me, and while Jim was parking the truck, called STAT! The doctor appeared by my side and called for an ambulance to take me to the emergency room. After 2 CAT scans and an MRI, they ruled out a heart attack, stroke, and vertigo. Their assessment was a benign brain tumor at the base of my cerebellum. I was admitted for observation and more tests. I was still very dizzy and the meds were knocking me for a loop!
