Light Box

I taught our local Boy Scout troop the Photography Merit Badge a week ago, and one of the requirement options is to choose a topic to photograph, and then choose 20 photos for display or slideshow. I showed my son, a scout, one way to use a light tent, tripod, and timer to photograph some Lego creations as part of his 20 photos.

tigg Good for you. I've never used a light box, looks an awful lot of setting up! Is it?
I joined Brownies as a 7 year old, and held so many different roles over the last 40+ years. Not got one at the moment .... but keep getting friendly pressure from friends. Friends who are up to their armpits in Guiding!

Steve Karg The light tent takes a lot of tabletop room, but is really simple to set up - it springs into shape out of the bag (Cowboy Studio brand). It is more difficult to put away, and to find a place to store the lights. The light tent is useful for photographing objects without other distractions. Maybe you will be tempted to guide someday.
