see you in heaven?

Today my Grandpa has gone to sleep forever. To me he was the best Grandpa I could imagine - he really loved his grandchildren and we loved him. He took us on surprise trips to cool destinations when we were kids and could stay with him for a weekend, and he never lost his waggish sense of humour, I could even feel when I visited him last time 10 days ago. I am happy to have had a Grandpa until the age of 35 and at the same time sad that he had to leave but I am also relieved that he could go now because he was very weak and no more the Granddad I knew at last. I took this pic shortly after my Mom called me to tell he had passed away and it was the only pic I took today.
