Christmas Carousel

My youngest son and I went to the local Mall to shop for Christmas today, and we ate dinner at the food court. There is a 30-year-old carousel at the Riverchase Galleria Mall food court which has Christmas reindeer and sleighs, transformed from its usual circus animals.

In 2013, the carousel was boxed up and shipped from Birmingham to San Francisco to undergo restoration. The restoration included repainted animals and scenery, reupholstered seats, refinished oak panels and a revamped motor and electrical system, including all LED lighting.
