Towards Sutro

At the behest of @victoria, I'm trying anew to complete a full year of a picture-a-day project. I've failed at my several previous attempts, but I'm determined to make it happen this year. This time, however, I've perhaps foolishly decided to post four photos a day at four separate sites: here, Flickr, ello and Facebook.

Gulp.

While there will be a creative benefit to attempting to take at least four photos throughout the course of a day, the process will all too likely require that I get off my arse (benefit #2) and get out of the apartment, an activity that working all day at the computer tends to stifle.

I took this photo early in the day from my neighbour's apartment, which happens to be on the sunny side of the building. I thought it would be best to get it out of the way in the event that I yet again succumbed to other things. As it turned out, I went for an seven-plus-mile walk, returning with numerous acceptable photographs,very sore feet, and one blister.
