Grace We were eating pizza in the car and my husband noticed the sky looking a bit lighter than normal, I had thought there might be something going on that night but wasn't thinking I'd get anything. Glad I decided to check :). Iceland will be amazing, I want to go there one day!

Grace I think I've heard of people getting photos from Melbourne? Join the Southern Hemisphere Aurora Group on Facebook, really good forecasts on there and people post where they get photos from.

Lauren Huston Thank you for that. :) Yeah I know it's possible from the general vicinity - but I am currently restricted by public transport. :( and living 8km from the city centre is probably not viable to see anything. :(
stephen_long64 Lucky to see it at all. All we have in Auckland is thunder and lighting. Hoping for a good show when we go to Iceland in December though.
