The River City

I've been itching to try out my drone a little bit closer to a city, and managed to find a stretch of park with not too many people in it (The fact that it has turned cold and wet is possibly responsible). I'd love to get closer to the bridge, and being that I still have 4 days left in Brisbane I might get the chance.

Side Note: Today was the closest I've got to actually losing the drone. Very shortly after its second takeoff, the drone and controller lost connection with each other, meaning that it decided to trigger return to home. The downside was that I was effectively standing under a tree, next to the river. Trees + propellers do not mix, especially not when said tree has branches overhanging the water for the drone to fall into.

Thankfully it was able to see the tree and didn't just fly straight into it, and after a minute or so the connection was regained, but wow the heart rate was up for quite a bit there.
