Bruce 10 points if you can find Polaris, or the Polar Star -)

NatZ Amazing!! How long was the exposition?

Bruce 15 minutes... For full circles, it would take a very long time, judging by how far the trails are :-). I might try a 30 or 45 min one to catch a falling star or satellite going by.

Satoshi T Oh Great! I can find the Polarstar!

Bruce 10 points for Satoshi! 👏👏😊

Bruce 10 points for you too :-). Ever see the moons of Jupiter in a telescope? It's pretty cool, as are the rings and moons of Saturn.

Bruce It's a little tricky, basically holding up your camera to the eyepiece, but it can be done. It's not like a Hubble Telescope photo, but still pretty cool. If we have many more clear nights, I'll try it, if the planets are visible. :-)

Katrina Yu Can I say I find the polar star too??? And that would be a lie. 😣 Knowledge inadequate!! haha But I love this shot.

Bruce Hint: just look for the star in the center of the circle that hasn’t moved 😀
