Bruce They've had a smaller office here for years, but since Amazon is based here, so they needed to grow as well. It's both good and bad - good for jobs and economic growth, bad for the increased traffic and very high house prices. In a large picture sense, it's a good thing :-).

craig That sounds like great opportunities for Seattle. I once visited the Microsoft building in Edinburgh. It was very impressive.
Bruce Microsoft is based here as well, and they are also building a new campus in Redmond (which essentially is a city beside Seattle). We're turning into another San Francisco fast.

In Szczecin we call them "dźwigozaury" - it's a word created from "cranes" and "dinosaurs", so maybe English equivalent could be... "cranosaurs"? :D
