The City

I don't like summer. It's hot, sticky, and I have to wait for a really long time for late afternoon/sunset/dusk/twilight/night. All of my favourite times to shoot. None of this mid afternoon stuff. Unfortunately due to time zones, I now finish work an hour earlier than I was before, which means about waiting 3+ hours after finishing work to when it starts to get dark. I decided to do a walk after work and see if I could wait it out - walking from the city to South Bank and then around to Kangaroo Point. Spotted this view and shot it while I was walking past. Very similar to tookapic.com/photos/60339 (which was taken nearly 2 years ago!), although slightly further back on the river. I never did get to see sunset and dusk - the clouds kept building and I didn't want to get rained on, so I headed home. :(
