GLADNESS TO SADNESS

This young heron made his first flight from the nest the day before yesterday.I was so happy to see that there was new life amongst the bird population. Today sadly I found him dead not far from where he had first landed. I normally would avoid publishing such a sad photograph but I had to record this very sad event.
