greenlight Nice shot!

v agnès Very nice!

Nicolas Camenisch Merci Agnès.

Daniel Zaleski Had to return, really good shot.

ponzu I don't see what you see, i.e., paint dripping down a canvas. I, too, like to flip photos upside down as well as mirror to see if a)I can confuse the viewer, b)the viewer will appreciate the trick. Without reading your description, I wondered if this was flipped, but decided it was not for two reasons: 1)willows are know to "weep", i.e, grow down instead of up and 2)what would be the point? So I was wrong, or rather, my initial instinct was right, but my conclusion of the validity of my impression was wrong. Well, as I wrote to another author, if the point of your photo was to confuse the viewer, you can consider that goal accomplished. But I would not consider framing this and hanging it on my wall as an abstract. It is a bit messy in the concept and the look. Sorry if that sounds harsh. Obviously, 42 people (as of this comment) disagree with me.

Nicolas Camenisch Thanks for the feedback! I never really intended to confuse the viewer, but instead I was fascinated by this "wet/dripping" look created by the branches. The point about it being a bit messy is definitely true. I probably should have chosen a different crop (include less of the tree stem) to make it look less messy. - Appreciate your opinion :)

wkaleniecki Nice composition
