The Exclamation Mark at the End of Icemageddon

My day started at 12:06am with a site wide power failure. At 12:30am we were dealing with reports of electrical arching on the power poles. By 2:30am we had shutdown power at the main breaker, driven the 5km driveway looking for downed lines, and released an apology video for missing a University Job Fair.

With daylight our shyt-list included failed generators, failed compressors, water plant issues, failed phone network, server challenges, ice... so... much... ice..., and downed trees.

By 4:00pm I though things had settled down.... Staff Member: "Hey Joe. Umm... there's a tree that's broken through the roof of [Staff Building]." Joe: "Of course there is. That's about the only thing that hadn't happened yet."

This is what I do for a living. And I love it.
