Kevin Drum This was a Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 that my wife bought for me, which is not a great lens for most purposes (slow autofocus, not sharp at wider apertures), but in this case I was shooting a very still object with a tiny aperture, so conditions were ideal for it to shine.
