Kevin Drum It was at the restaurant. I almost always have the camera with me.
Kyle Kokotajlo Awesome, I guess places don't normally care since it is basically a compliment. I applaud your confidence, I would feel uncomfortable fiddling with my camera (especially because of its size) in an eating establishment.
Kevin Drum Before we left, I wanted to take a picture of the guy making the sushi, but I chickened out because he looked really busy. It helps to have a female with you because a guy taking pictures in public by himself is automatically assumed to be a monster of some kind.
