They say that there are two kinds of people - those who make backups and those who never lost their data ;-) I've lost some photos few years ago and now I have automatic backup. But automatic backup needs software, and sometimes it happens that after system re-installation it reveals that used software support expired and you have to change into a new solution. It's few days now since this "new solution" tries to synchronize and index about 2.2TB of my data... I thought that it takes so long because of WIFI connection so I've changed it to LAN, but it still takes ages. Right now it has 170k of files left to process... Sigh...

PS. I'm in IT world for over half of my life, but sound of working hard drives has never been my favorite lullaby so I moved to my couch as my PC stays in bedroom ;-)

Daniel Zaleski :) had it in the living room, moved it to the "technical room", I have probably the same machine and I still think of buying one more and set it at my brother's apartment with overnight sync ... we shall see ...

Marta Tomaszewska I also though about "outside" backup. But I think I'll make it in "non-RAW" version somewhere in the clouds ;-)
