Good Friday Fireworks

In the years that I've lived in this suburb, I've never actually come down to visit the BlueWater Festival that occurs each year over easter. My old house was perfectly positioned with the fireworks that I could see the tops of them from my balcony, so it seemed like such a waste of time to fight the crowds. Alas, now I have my new house and no exciting views, so I had to come down and see it properly! Timing wise it only went for 5 minutes, which is not a long time when you are trying to get your settings right in camera. Unfortunately I failed most of the shots (a little overexposed) but thought this was nice. It's nice to have the pier, the markets, all the people, and the moonlight in the one shot. I almost had some light painting on the beach as the kids were running around with LEDs.
