A Lester Burnham Kind of Day

Today has been entirely too much like work. I spent way too much time arguing with website; too much energy solving problems I didn't really care about; too much effort to get stuff done.

Don't get me wrong, I love my job and wouldn't change it at all. But there are times when I wish I could just throw in the towel and take a job with almost no responsibility what-so-ever.

And then I look at my acorn. It normally lives on my desk... but has been known to go missing from time to time. It gets picked up, moved around, lost, found, lost again and not much else.

I really don't know where I was going with that, but hey... look... it's a picture of an acorn on a sheet of white paper.
