After yesterday's concert I was so stoked with good energy, that I didn't even go to sleep before the journey - we were home late, had some things to talk through with Martyna about my trip, I had to finish packing... and went to train station in the very morning to catch the train at 6 a.m. to Warsaw. I slept for half the trip, but was grinning and smiling to everyone around all the time :)
Met Agata Malek aka GaGatek, our longboard dancer and Eternity Longboards rider, at Warsaw Central Station, shoot a photo of Palace Of Culture and Science and we got on the bus to the airport, where I had to disassemble my board to pack it to the sport luggage, had a last cigarette before flight... and here we were, flying over the Earth - or rather turning left on our course to Eindhoven! Had a quite pleasant flight, talked much with my co-passengers, who happened to be an old IT professor and his wife going to visit their daughter in Hague - many stories, that made me laugh, many clever words.
It was 27 degrees when we got to Eindhoven, so 5km push from the airport to our hotel was kinda exhausting :D but we got there, met with Kasia, another polish longboard dancer (and CrownBoards teamrider, so proud!), re-packed our stuff at the hotel, visited the hall, where the whole event took place... and we were off to the square, where few hundreds of longboarders were already dancing, doing tricks and having fun. It was Four Twenty and we were in Netherlands - but I've waited until about 10 p.m. till another part of our polish crew, Alternative Longboards, arrived on the spot until we went to a coffee shop... and it was a great feeling to order a coffee there :D
My body was protesting after almost total lack of sleep, but I was in such a great mood, that I ignored it completely.
I got to the hotel around 3 a.m., took a shower and fallen asleep before even hitting the pillow with my head...
