Lovely little gift

We have some Chinese exchange students visiting our school for a few days, and this morning one of the students in my first class gave me this beautiful little gift. I'm not sure what it's called, but it's truly lovely. One side says "Safe Travels," but I'm not sure what this side says. I was told it was from his hometown, although I may have misunderstood. Anyway, I will probably do a better picture soon. :)
