Weißsee

When we arrived to the parking at the mountain lift it started raining. Half an hour later, when we were at the top, clouds almost dissapeared and we were delighted with the view of the Weißsee. Having a lot of time we decided to go down the lake and then up the rocks. Had a snack, took some photos and enjoyed the landscape. Meanwhile heavy clouds approached and eventually the heavens opened. We had to retreat and just after a while we were soaking wet. Add to this thunders rumbling around during the descent in a cable car and you have a recipe for a remarkable trip. The only drawback is that probably our hiking shoes won't dry till tomorrow.

vera Beautiful adventure that reminds us how weather in mountain can be changing... and sometimes dangerous... but soooooo beautiful too! this pic is really great and I suppose that the real view was majestic!?

Michał Indeed, I cannot agree more - nature is beautiful, but dangerous as well. It's easy to forget the latter.

As for the view, it's not only visual experience. You feel and hear the wind, smell the fresh air, feel the sun rays, all that just cannot be included in a digital snap. So yes, it is great, I just love mountains :)
