Chopin monument

A free day in Warsaw! My only quest was to get to Praga and find our meeting place for a welcome drink before Loesje may meetup in the evening, so I decided to go exploring! Took a bus with Jawor, who was going to work, and got out next to Łazienki Park - I've never been there before and I was amazed by this place. It's a huge part of our history there, and it's wonderfully maintained and beautiful. I spent a few hours there, riding my board, taking pictures, went for a dinner, met and talked to people from KOD (Democracy Defence Committee) who are protesting against our actual, "wonderful" government, talked to some strangers, had a dinner, visited LongboardShop (again!) and finally took a bus to the other side of the city. Our welcome beer was great, I already knew only a few people - but all of them, gathered by passion for Loesje and changing the world to a better place, were great. After the beer I took a look at the map and decided to go back to Wiącu's place by board instead of public transport - it was just one district, from north to south end.... and the journey took 40 minutes of heavy pushing to get there! Warsaw is huge - living in Cracow, 40 minutes means getting from any end of the town to the strict centre. But I have already said "Kazzi cannot into distances" in Warsaw and I still keep that words actual.
