Waiting in a train

Warning: Failed outing description ahead! I decided to try for a dark site for Milky Way - jumped on the 4:40pm Nambour train and exited the train 90 minutes later. A heart sinking 5 minutes later I was on the next train home as the sky was completely filled with smoke, to the point that the moon was red.... Absolutely no point in trying to shoot the stars. :(

So..... yeah. Finally got home at 8:30pm with my tail between my legs. :(

In lieu of star photos, here is the home-bound train, sitting at Mooloolah station waiting for the outbound train to pass. :)
