Got Lucky

Went into town for some supplies and such. One my way back I spotted something that kinda-sorta-but-not-really looked like a beaver. Tried to zoom in on my cell phone but couldn't really tell.

Got home, got my Tamron 150-600, and got back out, and... nothing. Nothing on the creek. I was a little disappointed. As I was packing up and heading up this little cutie popped up and took some time grooming and generally chilling out.
