The Glass Age

A few years ago I watched short promo/demo video from Corning, where Jamie and Adam from Mythbusters were testing different types of glass. At the end they made an interesting point that we live in the "Glass Age", as so many things we use today are the direct result of glass innovation.

That idea stuck in my head. Today, when I passed next to this glass covered building I instantly remembered of it.
