Bruce I've seen baby gray whales (rare) and killer whales further north; it's always a privilege to see them in the wild. Glad you were able to experience it! :-)
jewels Wow! Sounds so amazing! I have only seen killer whales a long time ago in these horrible sea world type aquariums... must be incredible to see them in their natural habitat!
Bruce It is breathtaking, since they always travel in pods. Sadly, their numbers are diminishing due to lower salmon populations, and sea pollution. I read that a new baby was spotted recently in one of the pods, so that was encouraging :-).
