craig Thanks Bruce, that is the second or third milestone post I hadn't noticed! The article on Bar tailed Godwits is quite incredible. I sometimes see them on our coastline. The Tern are the same, long distance flyers!
Bruce I went to a talk over the weekend about shorebirds, and now I have even greater respect for them. Imagine flying 24/7 for 9 days over the ocean, without stopping or gliding. Incredible! :-)
