jewels I can relate so much to what you are saying. There are moments when you feel that instead of developing your creativity, it is actually killing it... sometimes just pushing through another day is what you need to find the will to go on. Btw, it is a great pic 😊

tigg Thanks for the encouragement and sympathy. I admit that I do sometimes feel envious of the group who live around lake Geneva: there is so much inspiration there, always a view if nothing else. The sense of community on tookapic is very different to that on blipfoto, where, incidentally, you cannot like a photo from the thumbnail but actually have to click on and visit the actual posting. Consequently, the title and text become an integral part of the whole experience. You can have 20 likes or more on this site, and no-one has actually viewed the photograph ...
The other thing I did not mention above is that I find I have very little time to get fully engaged, I keep the number I follow quite low as I cannot regularly look at that many photos. Which, inevitably, is reflected in the feedback I get. Maybe I need to change my approach.
